131pp. 1st Edition. Original red cloth with spine lettering stamped in gilt. This copy inscribed and signed boldly by the author on the front free endpaper. Deyneka was a Russian-American who immigrated to the US in 1914. He was converted in 1920, studied in Bible college, and then returned to Belarus to discover that most of his family died in a famine. He helped found the Slavic Gospel Association, a missionary church planting organization. Ownership inscription to the front free endpaper. Foreword by Oswald J. Smith. Stains to the foreword. Ownership ink stamps to the front pastedown, front free endpaper, top & bottom edges of the text block. Dampstain to the heel of the spine, effecting the cloth and the verso of the jacket. The jacket is chipped at the head of the spine and somewhat soiled at the back panel.
