Pastedown plates from the Working Men's Lord's Day Rest Association, beautifully printed with "The Duty of Observing the Sabbath" at the front and "What the Lord's Day Should Be" at the back. A nicely printed Reward of Merit on the verso of the front free endpaper, which is inscribed and signed by the Sunday School Superintendent and dated 1895. Printed with an elaborate gilt border by Campbell & Tudhope of Glasgow. Offsetting to the half title from the reward. Corners bumped, a few corners rubbed through at the tips. Tiny pull tears at the spine ends. Ownership inscription to the front free endpaper. Still an exceptionally bright copy with lovely additional ephemeral material.
