352pp. Original black cloth with lettering and decorations stamped in gilt. Illustrated. Great photo engravings of the various sports teams (football, baseball, hockey, lacrosse, track, boxing, etc.). The editor Cyril Hume would go on to achieve success in film writing. He wrote scripts for 29 films including Tarzan the Ape Man and The Great Gatsby (starring Alan Ladd and Betty Field). He also edited the school's humor magazine while he was there. Corners bumped. Top edge of the text block dust soiled. Minor scuffing to the binding. Binding slightly cocked. Some dampstain to the fore edge margin of the text block, not effecting the printed text. Former ownership inscription clipped out of the front free endpaper.
