Manilla colored envelope printed in red. Closes with a latched flap. Measures 1 3 4 inches by 3 inches. The text on the recto is printed in this listing's title. The text on the verso serves as an advertisement for other products: "Use Dr. Weare's Condition Powders, when once used, no other will be sought." Also, "Try Dr. Weare's Sure Cure for the Heaves. It is just what its name implies." I'm not sure I want to know what the "heaves" are, much less contract them. Weare was originally a veterinarian who was born in Fairport, NY, relocated to Michigan, but later came back to Fairport to open a business as a pharmacist. He died in 1890. Based on the printing style and paper, we estimate this item to be from the 1880's. Some coffee colored staining to the envelope, which looks like spotting. Size: 64mo - up to 3" tall
