Details contributions to Zionism in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Galveston, Ft. Worth, Waco, Tyler, Corpus Christi, Lubbock, Oklahoma City, New Orleans and elsewhere. Ludwig Lewisohn contributed an essay called "An Instrument of National Salvation." There are two essays on Zionism in Texas as well as an essay on the effort to establish a colony called Nachlath Texas in Palestine. Incidentally, The Handbook of Texas contains a very good article on the role of Jews in the founding of Texas (I:912), something I was not aware of until researching this title. Corners bumped.
