Fay (State Engineer & Surveyor), Frederick Follett (Canal Commissioner), Darius Clark (Inspector of State Prisons), Jason C. Woodruff (Senator), Henry G. Beach (Sheriff), Hicks Worden (County Clerk), John Gilbert (Superintendent of Poor), Joseph Jaqueth (Justice of Sessions), and for Coroners--Chester Wilson, John Parry, Jacob Hyser and Dorastus Lawrence. The title is misprinted "Amusing Aplhabet" on the front cover. Each page contains a woodblock print illustration which is hand colored. Great Civil War era piece with a military motif for the page containing E-H. E is an ensign, F is a fort and flag and the corresponding illustration depicts each. From the Dame Wonder's Series. Creased. A couple of small closed tears to the wraps. Foxed. Small pencil ownership inscriptions on the verso of the front cover and on the title page. Size: 16mo
